Trust & reliability

We'd rather tell you the truth than promise you a number we can't back up.

A lot of software promises "99.99% uptime" and never gets asked to prove it. Here's what we commit to, and why.

Who's behind FonsHive

Built by someone who did this by hand first.

FonsHive was built by Paul, a Minnesota data engineer and marketing consultant who set up call tracking, lead-source reporting and missed-call recovery for a home-service contractor by hand. We turned that work into one product, so a shop with a few trucks gets the same answers without hiring a consultant.

No inflated uptime promise. A recovery commitment instead.

Rather than hand you a contractual uptime number with penalties attached and hope you never test it, we treat every outage as urgent the moment we know about it and move immediately to restore service.

  • The parts we run ourselves. For every FonsHive-controlled component, our worst-case recovery ceiling is 16 hours. That is a stated ceiling, not the typical experience.
  • The services we build on. FonsHive also depends on outside providers: the call-tracking and AI voice services, your CRM, Google and Meta. When one of them has an outage, we tell you promptly and plainly. We can't put a time limit on their recovery, because we don't control it.
  • Leads wait instead of disappearing. Incoming form submissions and call records are saved the moment they arrive, before any processing. If a processing step is down, they are handled when it recovers, so an outage on our side delays a lead instead of losing it.
  • If we cause an outage, you get a credit. Where we confirm a Service failure was caused by FonsHive, we credit the prorated subscription fee for the affected period, and we may add a goodwill credit at our discretion. Credits apply to future invoices only, have no cash value, and total credits for one incident never exceed the fees you have paid us to date.

You own your data

Your business data is yours. We collect what it takes to run the service, call recordings, transcripts, form submissions and attribution data, and we don't sell it to anyone.

How long we keep each kind of record is set out in our Privacy Policy, which is published before the first paid account opens.

Every account runs under your own credentials

Your integrations and connected accounts are set up under your own email and logins, not ours. Nothing about your setup depends on any one person on our side. The whole system is built and documented so it keeps running and stays supportable, whatever happens.
